WEEK 11!!!!!!!!!!!!

I could not be happier today. No more school for a month, my animation is complete, and so far everything I've learned has helped with my other classes too. If it weren't for these past few weeks I'd never be able to create portfolio templates in Illustrator, draw up symbols in Photoshop, Create layouts for work in InDesign, or help someone with their editing. The other day someone called me a "Photoshop Pro," if they only saw me 11 weeks ago the'd be rolling on the floor. Here's to a very successful quarter in CS2202!

Flash Week 10!

So I finished my animation and I could not feel more accomplished. I feel fairly comfortable with the program, but not a pro in the least. At first getting started was difficult, but now that I have swimming fish on my screen it all seems too easy. Not much else to say, just a big sign to let out...

Week 9: Flash

So I have learned that Flash looks just as complicated as AE. And now that I've started the packets, I KNOW it is. Fumbling my way through though and not doing too bad. Every once and a while I hit a bump that even Ms. Brown can't understand but other than that no problems.

AfterEffects (still) Week 8

Finished the affter effects project today and felt really good about it. It fianally all clicked and I could change just about anything like it was nothing. Saving always gets me though. We also recieved packets for either Dream Weaver or Flash for our final projects. I chose Flash animation. Until next time.

AffterEffects Week 7

Not much really, just picking images and playing with type motions for our presentation. Not too comfortable yet, but getting there. Just a few tweeks left now.

Week 6: After Effects Intro

After looking at all of the magazine covers we started to just play around with AfterEffects. Instantly, when I open up the program, I feel awful. There are no recognizeable icons or tool bars to be seen and I already feel stressed out. Hopefully next week will be easier.

Playing Catch_Up...

So I've learned that keeping up with blogs is not as easy as one would think, I'm actually pretty awful at it. The next few are all done to inform you on what I didn't post these past weeks.

Week 5: InDesign Magazine

This week we worked with InDesign to create a mock magazine cover. Not to hard at all. Seemed that this was he easiest of programs to use. The only downfall to it is the pictures are not very easy to expand in the program. Not much else to say...

Week #3 Illistrator

Photobucket
Photobucket
This week was so much easier for me. Don't know why just was. We worked in Illustrator and have to make our own logos. I'm pretty excited about this because I'm directing mine toward my major, interior design, and being how one day I'd love to have my own business it may come in handy. While learning how to fancy up the logos I learned how to blend, change type, and how to really use the gradient tool. I am feeling quite accomplished, but also still decades behind in my rendering skills. catch you on the flip side...

Week 2: Photoshop

This week we worked in photoshop and I felt so slow compared to other students. I have absolutely no idea how to use it, pretty shame ful for an art student, but I made my way through. We worked on putting images into shapes and turning that into an ad. I don't know why, but this is the hardest thing for me. I just can't think of what to make an ad of. Laterin the week I tried to change my ad into something else, something more easy, but I couldn't remember how to do it for the life of me. Hopefully this will all get easier. Until next time...

Getting Started...

So here is the first of the first. I've never really kept a blog before but we'll see how this goes. Day one in computer concepts left me feeling more comfortable with the material we'll be learning, I had heard horror stories, so I already feel better. I also created a pretty cute veggie girl. Not much to say about day one other than that. Catch you on the flip side... Gomez
